Welcome to my
homepage. My name is M. Kandan. Graduated in Psychology from Presidency College, Chennai and completed doctoral program in Management from FMS, Delhi. Have over 20 years of experience in training, consulting, e-learning, software, customer service, BPO etc. Currently working as Vice President at SQL Star, and head the e-learning division of the company.
Before joining SQL Star I was Delivery Head at ICUS, a Singapore based custom e-learning solution company. Prior to this,I was Head of Technology and Development at First E-Learning Quest, an e-learning software development company co-founded by me; General Manager with

banner of Hero - a member of the USD1200Mn Hero Group.

the names I feel privileged to be associated with. I executed projects in the areas of ITES training, e-learning systems,
corporate virtual university, and SW products such as Learning
Content Management Systems (LCMS), speech recognition based call
center simulator, web based assessments engines etc. |

Some of my achievements
have been establishing
NetVarsity and
Hero MindMine
where I played leadership roles. NetVarsity was the first of its kind in
India and one of the first few in the world.
NetVarsity’s success has encouraged NIIT to spin off it as a
separate company in the area of online learning. |

As General
Manager at Hero Corporate Services, I envisioned and created the
content for BPO/Call Center training. Build technology based
training solutions standardized for multi location delivery. Created
teams required for the delivery, and setup training centers.

I had my early education
at St. Teresa Primary School and Govt. High School at Poolampatty,
Dt. Salem in Tamil Nadu. I graduated in Psychology from
Presidency College, Chennai and completed my doctoral program at
the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS),
Delhi University. |
